01 Aug A New Beginning
After being in business with my clothing label for over 5 years now, I have decided to take a leap of faith, and feed a pipe dream that has been brewing inside for quite sometime.
Last week I signed a lease on a little shop in a country town called Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast in Qld. This is to be my new studio and concept shop.
I’ll be working from there from now on, creating lovely things, as well as running workshops to teach others how to create for themselves. I am loving the idea of teaching people how to make their own clothes, crafts, and other bits and pieces in a time when the economy is at it’s worst, and many can’t afford the little luxuries in life that they most certainly deserve.
So without further adieu, here are some photo’s of the refurbishing we have done in the past few days. A work in progress, but slowly getting there!
