Luva Huva

Luva Huva

“The Luva Huva (pronounced lover huva) collection, includes 100% organic cotton and bamboo dresses and slips, along with exquisite lingerie sets made using ethically sourced and sustainable fabrics.

In a mission to demonstrate that natural materials like bamboo, soy and organic cotton can be made into beautiful handmade clothing, Luva Huva created a collection that celebrates fresh and elegant femininity.”

What captures me about this label, is that each piece has been made with delicate femininity in mind, alongside the dedication to using environmentally sound fabrics. The underwear is soft and breathable, and also aesthetically adorable which makes the label a win-win in every sense.

The designer, Joanna Ketterer has proudly placed a beautiful photo of herself on the swingtag of each garment, which makes you feel like you know exactly who and where your purchase has originated. There are no blurred lines of unethical production, or marketing trickery, just simplicity and innocence with a message from Joanna explaining her intention of providing you with a beautifully crafted piece to call your own.

Flicking through the summer 2012 look-book, I notice fantastic stripes, reds, greys, and pastels, which immediately awakens me to the images of an old fashioned english summer, set around wooden shacks,  housing pastel beach beauties.

Absolutely stunning pieces to wear, love and cherish.
The Luva Huva Summer 2012 sale is now on, with free shipping to Great Britain with all orders over £50, and up to 70% off selected pieces. Lucky for us, Luva Huva ships world-wide.
