Ungalli

Ungalli

Ungalli is the name of a secret tree, in a well know South African story and children’s book, which inspired the name behind the Candian clothing label designed and ethically produced on 100% sustainable materials.

The clothing is produced using 100% recycled and re purposed materials, by North American workers who are treated with respect, and supports causes that desperately need our full and complete attention.

Ungalli Clothing Co. has created a new standard for casual eco conscious clothing. Ungalli is not only considered eco – friendly but has entered a whole new realm of 100% sustainable, recycled, and ethically produced clothing.

Unlike the ‘greenwashed’ fabrics of many of todays eco-friendly clothing, Ungalli’s clothing is made from 100% recycled and repurposed material including recycled water bottles, recycled cotton, and scraps from cotton factory floors. Ungalli’s clothing is manufactured using a zero virgin growth within a 320-km production radius to minimize environmental impacts and reduce or eliminate water, petroleum, and C02 waste. They ensure that all clothing is produced in safe facilities where workers are treated with kindness, respect, and paid fairly for the hours they work.

Hurting the place we live and the people we love to produce what we wear is not ok. In todays age clothes express who we are and what we stand for. So stand up with us for change. Be a part of our mission to change they way we think about our clothes.

Every Ungalli product saves the world approximately 712 gallons of water, half a gallon of petroleum, 12 kilograms of CO2, and 3 ounces of chemicals by directly reducing the amount of water, land use, pesticides, and herbicides used to grow new cotton fibres as well as the amount of electricity needed to produce yarn and finish fabrics.

Every Ungalli product is 100% North American made. This means clothing is produced in safe facilities where workers are respected and paid fair wages to work legal hours. By purchasing clothing manufactured by North American workers, you are helping to create working wage job opportunities for people in your own backyard.

Last but certainly not least, by choosing to purchase Ungalli – not only will you be wearing clothing that doesn’t have a negative impact on the world, but you will also be creating a positive one. Ungalli has teamed up with two organisations that play a crucial role in protecting our planet and the innocent creatures that live on it. Specific and limited edition Ungalli designs will be inspired by and dedicated to animals that need our protection, and the places they call home. One dollar from every sale of our featured charity tee’s will go towards these organisations.
