We can tell that Christine Wiemers is the type of person who doesn’t throw scraps away.
Her beautiful one-of-a-kind treasures are sewn creatively with love and a true sense of wanting to give someone, something to cherish for a long time to come.
Purchasing small scraps from bins at fabric stores and waiting patiently for dressmakers remnants, she works her way down from the largest piece she can get her hands on to produce a bag, to the smallest piece, producing things like bobby pins.
This zero waste philosophy means that nothing goes into landfill from Christine’s work room. Every last piece is utilised and beautified. We especially love her little shoulder bags. One man’s trash is certainly Christine and her lucky customer’s treasure.
