Bloomsbury’s cult couture fashion house – Atelier Tammam, is an eco-couture studio offering bespoke bridal gowns, eveningwear, and couture fashion and accessories to a discerning clientele, including celebrities such as Poldark’s Eleanor Tomlinson and British treasure Jenny Agutter.
Each Tammam garment is hand crafted using a fully monitored sustainable supply chain to ensure that it is as ethical and eco friendly as possible. Garments are one of a kind – hand made from start to finish and tailored to fit every customer perfectly.
While tailoring is crafted in the London studio, artisans in India and Nepal create fabrics, embellishments, and accessory collections by working with traditional techniques modernised to fit the Tammam contemporary design aesthetic.
Each garment takes hours of careful construction and dedicated work. A single couture dress can take up to 4 months to construct and embellish and many fittings to ensure a perfect fit. Tammam’s intricate way of working ensures that every aspect of the garment is known “from fibre to finishing” – where it came from and who was involved in the creation.
