East of Grey

East of Grey

While our local area of Qld. has had an extremely rough 2 weeks with many area’s suffering substantially in the flood waters, we are still trying to find things to smile about from our sunny state, and here is one of them.

East of Grey is a label from the Gold Coast, emphasising a strong sustainability policy in the production of their work.

All garments are made from vintage, recycled as well as new fabrics creating one off pieces with individual style. Scraps are never thrown away, instead made into accessories such as hair ties and brooches, and designer Kim Bailey, creates most of the garments herself from her studio, in a old fashion, hand crafted manner.
