Just in time for the Australian summer, I was recently chuffed when I received my beautiful sample of this cleverly packed t-shirt from Cossac in the UK.

Not knowing much about the company (except for their perfected take on the classic white tee) I headed to their website, and current kickstarter campaign to learn a little more.

FOR THE EYE collection responds to the latest season’s trends with an ethical fashion twist. The sleek minimalistic designs create a stylish sustainable fashion look inspired by the catwalk with the same high fashion qualities using eco-friendly and recycled fabrics. Cossac strives for their collections to be affordable as well as ethical in order to compete with the high-street we keep prices to the lowest possible. FOR THE EYE garments are available from £60.

FOR THE SOUL collection brings together timeless, simple garments with an ethical fashion value. Perfect for yoga, training or just a casual weekend style. Organic cotton with a low carbon footprint is used to create a range of stylish roll sleeved t-shirts and easy-fit sweatshirts each printed using eco-friendly water-based inks for a statement yet simple look. Again maintaining a competitive price is very important for our FOR THE SOUL collection. Tees are available for £25 and sweatshirt £45.

Cossac has big plans. From sourcing the most quality environmentally conscious fabrics from around the world, to stepping into new product innovations such as mushroom leather. The company has also vowed to keep their business strictly online, to reduce the waste of extra shipping, excess stock, and to keep full control and transparency over their biodegradable packaging.

I’m all for this company’s ethos. If you’d like to support them as well, go to their kickstarter campaign now, & get your self a little gift for backing their extraordinary plan.
