Recently I had the pleasure of receiving a beautiful sample from the oh so suave website INDELUST.

On unwrapping the parcel, I was overwhelmed with how conscious and delicate the packaging was, and what was inside was to please me even more. I received a stunning 100% cotton, pleated skirt by Bodice. On trying on the garment, I could automatically feel the love that had gone into it’s production, and the quality standards which the designer and makers upheld to. The fit and style was perfect. I am going to treasure this skirt for a long time to come.

Based in New Delhi, India, Bodice has pioneered a polished aesthetic that continues to play with ideas of modernity and exploration while working with indigenous materials and techniques. This formula has produced a recognizable identity, which is carefully constructed through the integration of androgyny and the reinvention of classics with a subtle hint of irony. A graduate from the London College of Fashion, Ruchika Sachdeva believes that fashion is an exceptional way for people to construct and challenge their own individual identities. She constantly strives to highlight the paradoxes of the world at present and translates them through her design for people who admire and welcome radical ideas.

Artistically Curated. Ethically Sourced. This is the INDELUST motto. The websites founders have visualised building a global awareness of an emerging design sensibility from the Indian subcontinent.

When you shop at INDELUST, you shop for a lifetime. The garments you will purchase will be with you for a substantial time period rather than a disposable season. The clothing that you will wear will be organic, handmade, vegan, sustainable, vintage, nest reviewed and will have a social impact. So you can feel good that you have purchased something for the betterment of the planet.

If you are like me, you look at everything you invest in, ask yourself “Who made this? Were they rewarded for their efforts? How long I will keep it for? Will it last the distance? Will I wear it for years to come?”

I can honestly see myself having no problems choosing well on the INDELUST website, and what’s even better, is that they have a mens, home, and art department for those special gifts for your loved ones.
