Little Hill People

Little Hill People

Inspired by the exotic tribesmen of Northeast India, Little Hill People is one of the most unique ethical fashion labels we’ve seen in a while. Each gorgeous piece of apparel is made from hand loomed fabric and beads sourced directly from the tribespeople of Northeast India.

Taking a lot of influence from the area and combining it with the practicality of western styling, Stacey Aydeniz, born in Shilong in North East India, creates a collection of clothing, bags and a new bamboo jewellery series which are fun and playful to wear.

Best of all, her work provides Indian tribal artisans with safe working conditions and a stable income through ethical employment.

The Little Hill People blog is packed with information about the various cultures of North East India and the way they inspire mainstream trends.
