When Kate Fisher set off for an adventure in Nepal in 1993, she could have never imagined what was about to become the work of her life and the food of her soul. Finding amazing fabrics and clothing in which she sold on her return home, the idea of Synergy clothing was born, and 21 years later lives on to stock over 600 stores internationally.
Kate and husband Henry run the company which reflects their organic roots and adventurous spirits from Santa Cruz while taking several trips to Nepal every year to stay in touch with their makers. Whilst their environmental ethos include using organic cotton and low impact dyes, their ethical concerns mean all clothing is made with fair labour practices, promoting higher social and environmental standards.
